Flapjack
 
Ingredients
  • 330g Oats
  • 200g margarine (stork)
  • 6 tbsp golden syrup
 
Method
  • Melt margarine in a pan.
  • Put the oats into a large bowl.
  • Pour melted mixture over the oats and combine.
  • Pour mixture out into a lined dish/tin 10 by 12 inch.
  • With the back of a metal spoon press into corners and sides until top is smooth.
  • Place in preheated oven Gas mark 5/Electric 180 for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
  • Remove from oven and cut into squares. 
  • Leave to cool in the dish for a short while, move to cooling tray once set.
