Keeping Thackley Active
We all like to keep active at Thackley and we enjoy our physical activity in lessons, our playtimes and our physical education lessons twice a week. During these times where we are required to stay home it can be difficult to motivate ourselves to keep moving and keep active. Some of the ideas below will help families to keep active in the home or in the garden. We need to keep our fitness levels up so we are raring to go once we are back in school!
 
Yoga, mindfulness and relaxation designed specially for kids aged 3+, used in schools and homes all over the world.
 
Why not try PE with Joe? Live Mon-Fri at 9am. If you miss one then they are all on his channel so you can catch up on them later. 
 
Interactive videos to support KS1 & KS2 Maths, English, PSHE, and PE. Lots of different content so you culd choose a different video every day.
 
Hundreds of 'brainercise', dancing, strength and mindfulness videos as well of videos that are 'just for fun'. Lots of these videos can also be found on YouTube.
 
A selection of dance videos for you to copy and learn the moves. Search 'Just dance' and your favourite songs or 'Just Dance Kids' for ideas. 
 
The Yorkshire Sport Foundation are usually busy supporting the School Games Competitions but are now busy helping us to #StayInWorkOut. This website has lots of ideas for both children and adults to help us stay as active as possible.
