Home Learning Information for Parents

Welcome to the Home Learning area of our school website.

This is where we will set activities for you to complete at home for pupils who are working from home or isolating at home due to Covid-19.  We use Seesaw to assign activities.  Your child's unique code is in their Home Learning Pack that you need to collect from school.

Whilst your child is Learning at Home, it is really beneficial to stick to a routine. Please use the timetable provided in your year group’s folder to structure your day and access your learning.

Our class teachers are working hard to provide a wide range of activities for you and your child to access at home.  We appreciate that keeping children engaged in their learning whilst at home is not particularly easy, therefore we have tried to ensure the activities suggested are suited to your child’s year group and are a mix of tasks that can be completed independently by the child or with adult support. Many of the activities can be accessed on a PC, laptop, tablet, mobile phone, games console (such as an Xbox or PS4) or a smart TV .

We are aware that not all of our children have access to a device.  If you require a paper version of activities, just contact the school office and we can arrange to have a pack printed out for you to collect.

Please submit work daily so we can see what you are doing. Work can be submitted through Seesaw, or through the year group email system.

If you need to contact a member of staff for help with your home learning, we have set up a series of email contacts that you may use.  If staff remain well, they will aim to respond within one working day.
