Giant Smartie Cookies

 Ingredients 
 
125g Butter
150g Sugar
75g Brown Sugar
1 Egg
220g Self Raising Flour
3 Tubes of Smarties crushed
Method 
 
  • Cream together the butter and two sugars
  • Beat in the egg
  • Stir in the flour and flavourings, until a dough forms
  • Roll into 18-20 ping pong sized balls, and place on a tray lined with baking paper.
  • Bake in oven for about 8 minutes, they should be slightly risen and golden colour.
  • Remove from oven and slide the greaseproof paper off onto the cold surface.
  • When cooled move to cooling rack using a fish slice
  • Electric oven 200 degrees
 
  • Alternate flavours - choc chip, white choc and dried raspberry, fudge or coconut
