Safer Internet Day

The next Safer Internet Day (SID) is on Tuesday 7th February 2017.  As always, it is a great opportunity for us to remind children of how to stay safe when using the internet.  This year the theme is “Be the change: Unite for a better internet”.
This year we are also inviting parents to an exhibition of our children's work about e-safety and how to stay safe online. The afternoon will start with a presentation by our Computing Consultant, Paul Scott, who will talk to parents about the dangers of Social Media.  All who attend will be entered into our free prize draw to win an exciting prize!
Staff will be available to share handouts, resources and to give practical advice to parents on how they can help to keep children safe at home.  Our children are doing lots of work in their classes about e-safety and are excited about sharing it all with parents at the exhibition.
