Phonics

 Phonics at home
  • You can support your child with alliteration by playing I spy, making up silly sentences beginning with the same sound e.g. Silly sally sausage, Meg mog milly moo.
  •   Encourage your child to blend sounds together by playing games such as find the object using robot talk e.g. pick up your c-u-p.
  •   Change the words in our favourite rhymes e.g. Hickory Dickory Dable, the mouse ran up the table.

  •   We use this website a lot in Nursery. It has lots and lots of Nursery Rhymes to learn and sing. It also has some listening games, stories and listening activities. It adds new things all the time
