Every week there is a new exciting, healthy menu made from fresh produce.

All main meals are accompanied with potatoes, fresh bread, seasonal vegetables, and either salad or rice.

All desserts include a portion of fruit.

The cost of the meals is £7.50 a week or £1.50 per day and this payment is due every Monday.

It's always helpful to know what's going to be on the menu for school lunch, particulaly when planning your evening meals. That's why we've included the menus so you'll know exactly the dates they are appearing and the dishes your child could be enjoying.

We have lots of fun activities planned!  We are going to be exploring healthy picnic food and there will be the chance to eat our food outdoors sitting on pinic blankets with all our friends.  Yummy!!

If you wish your child/ren to bring a packed lunch from home, the children sit and eat their lunch in the hall.

All children whether having a school meal or packed lunch are cared for by our Midday Supervisors.

CHANGING TO SCHOOL DINNERS FROM PACKED LUNCH OR VICA VERSA

If you wish to change from one to the other we ask for a weeks notice.

Fruit & Veg Scheme

You may have heard about the Government's School Fruit and Vegetable Scheme. Under the scheme, each child in reception, year one and year two in LEA-maintained schools will be entitled to receive a free piece of fruit or vegetable each school day. The fruit and vegetables will be fresh and of good quality. The aim is for children to have a positive and enjoyable experience of fruit and vegetables.

Scientists agree that everybody, including children, can reduce their risk of heart disease and cancer by eating at least five portions of fruit and vegetables every day. On average, children in the UK eat only two portions a day.

Milk Money

Payment is due the beginning of each full term (September, January and April)

Nursey and Reception children are free.

Year 1 and 2 = £11.40

Year 3 to 6 = £13.50

Milk is free to all children entitled to free school meals.
