At Thackley Nursery we aim to provide a broad based curriculum for children in their early years promoting their personal, social and emotional, intellectual and physical development through collaborative, exploratory, manipulative and imaginative play. All activities are carefully planned and topics are used to enable children to make progress towards the Early Learning Goals. All our children are settling in well. This half term we are looking at colours and we will be reading stories about Elmer the elephant. During Rhyme time we are already learning some very exciting songs and rhymes, hickory dickory dock is one of our favourites. We are singing a very tricky song about five little ducks every day which is helping us to learn our numbers!
